What is a routing number?

A routing number is a nine-digit code that identifies your bank in financial transactions. The routing number tells other banks and payment systems where your account is held so money can be routed to the right place.

Where can I find my routing number?

Similar to the image above, your routing number is printed on the bottom left of your checks. It also may be listed in your online banking or mobile app account details. It also available by contacting our bank in Kansas.

What happens if I use the wrong routing number?

Using an incorrect routing number can delay a transaction, cause it to be rejected, or in some cases route funds to the wrong institution. Remember to double-check the number before submitting a transfer or setting up direct deposit.
